March 3, 2011 - Tasty wine and rather smooth tannins. A nice buttery-oak flavor, light on the fruit, long on the finish. The 20% Petit Verdot really mellows out the Merlot. Extremely dark color to the point of opaqueness. Drinking nicely now. Consumed with seasoned pulled pork.
