March 20, 2022 - In the bouquet chocolate, dark berries, autumn forest and some celery. On the palate dark berries, herbs and spices, chocolate, good acidity and drying tannin.

December 5, 2010 - Cheese, barnyard, animal fat. Morphing into leather and berry underneath, with time. Light palate up front, easy acid and balanced, soft tannins, esp. with time after opening. Will have to give this a day and try again, but pleasing transformation over a couple of hours. Nice with Manchego.

November 23, 2010 - Definitely tight and band-aid on the nose. Grippy on the palate and was better after an hour in the decanter, but would probably be even more so given another 2 or 3.
