December 31, 2017 - Sweet redcurrant and raspberry fruit, hint of sour cherries, some earthy notes, fading tawny colour reveals the age, but there's still plenty of fresh acidity to stand up to many foods. Overall, highly enjoyable, but like much cru Burgundy, too expensive for the enjoyment delivered.

April 27, 2014 - Translucent ruby, just starting to turn brick at the edges. Charming bouquet of raspberries, sweet Pinot fruit, herbs, earthy and just a hint of butterscotch. Silky smooth palate, round, firm, with grip still, not at all faded. Medium-bodied and a medium finish which lingers. For this vintage, a good showing.

August 26, 2012 - Very enjoyable on a Saturday night with our simple grilled dinner. Cherries and earth on the nose, and sour cherries, red raspberries, spices, and earth on the palate. Pleasant tannins and acidity -- this is a food wine.

May 16, 2012 - Tom Reddick visits NYC. (Peking Duck House- Midtown): A real fun wine. Overloaded with sweet, ripe cherries and a touch of chocolate, there's still some spicy oak that could use some integration, but there's enough fruit present to handle it. Not a lot of development or complexity, but the wine has depth and is just a joy to drink. If you're looking for crunchy minerality and lithe structure, this really won't do it for you. My WOTN. A-.

October 31, 2011 - The nose and palate on this is surprisingly evolved for a Dujac of this age. Rich and deep dark cherries in the mouth, forest floor, a little spice and quite savoury, satisfyingly long, very good indeed

June 28, 2011 - Double-decanted 2.5 hrs when shown well into in a diverse blind tasting. Stinky, concentrated, slightly-mulled fruit. Stinky, minty, leathery. Brighter notes of red-purple fruits and herbs - that lifted perfume of an elite, alive wine - exciting. Palate shows super-bright, darker, over-ripe strawberry plus minor purple cherry. Minor sweets, soft spice and a farmyard thread. Power, intensity, breadth, soft-density. A great, sweet-sour, herby, minty, grippy, electric zap starts to come within the broad, confident finish. Fantastic finish. Certain WOTN. This is open, effusive, messy, generous: I’d call this a peak and drink away. 93-95, 94.

December 13, 2010 - Definitely has a gamy/funky edge to the surprisingly dark red fruit component both aromatically and on the palate. If you're looking for a clean wine this is not it. Could be a little bit of brett going on here but no one found it either brett-y or super brett-y so probably depends on what you think of gamy/sweaty notes to your Pinot. Good depth and plenty of tannin. I found it pretty spot on for the rough and tumble Gevrey character and the higher tone Combottes style. Opened 3 hours in advance of being drunk. Good stuff if you like off-beat Burgs.
