Community Tasting Notes 2

August 13, 2011 - I have bought many cases of the Elio Perrone barberas over the years, and always like them. I did prefer the 2004 and 2005 to the 2006, which I am drinking through now. Nonetheless, an enjoyable wine. Very dark, with less bright cherry fruit than I usually see in the Perrones.

May 29, 2010 - By aiming for refinement, rather than opulence, this Barbera achieves a certain anonymity. It's flawless, but practically featureless as well. Drink with food.
