October 19, 2016 - Closel and Evelyne de Pontbriand (Le Caveau, Chamblee, GA): Earthiness and leather dominate, but there is enough brambly fruit to keep it fresh and to offset the tannin. Quite pleasant and while I don't know if age has improved it, age has brought out an interesting and different character than it showed in its youth.

March 3, 2013 - Indeed drinking like a Burgundy, though lacking in the nose for that.

May 21, 2011 - Best showing in a long time: still a little tannic but plenty of depth and interest. Not bad for $14.50. No discernible brett and only the faintest hint of a lactic note that has put me off with other bottles from this vintage.

February 23, 2011 - This one was a little disappointing. While not a brett bomb, it was pretty stinky, enough to be off-putting, and the underlying material was a little diffuse. Bummer.

October 3, 2010 - Very divided opinions, with one person thinking corked, couple simply not liking, and me liking. Still a little reticent, but to me it’s just saying “hey, I’m a nice Cru B, but I was napping” Still, with a swirl a nice wine. B+
