  May 11, 2012 - Barely resembles Pinot noir, or at least what most should consider pinot noir. Dark, brambly, jammy blackberry fruit with vanilla buttered popcorn. On the positive side there is some nice white pepper and a moderately long and polished finish. This tastes sort of like a Zinfandel mixed with fruit punch. There is a strange reflection of Val d'Aostan petit rouge which would be fine if that is what it was supposed to be. For someone who doesn't venture out of Burgundy for Pinot I probably should have tried something higher up the chain.

  May 6, 2012 - Very dark for a Pinot. Lots of flavor, but lacking in complexity. Also a little sweeter then I would like.

  September 30, 2011 - Nice wine. Dark for Pinot, nice red fruit aromas. Strawberry, plum, some fruity spice.

  September 4, 2011 - Delicious. Deep, dark purple color. Heavy cherries on the nose. Soft, cherry flavor. Bit heavy for a Pinot, but really tasty nonetheless. Consistent with Sebastiani excellence and value.
