April 14, 2019 - Nose of blackberry and French oak. Moderately rich mouth, well structured finish with well judged support from the wood tannins. Overall, a well balanced and fairly elegant example of a new world style Bordeaux blend. Delivers what I expect from a good Chilean wine at this price point.

March 23, 2018 - A long wait for the 2007 vintage to be ready to drink but it was beneficial for the wine to reveal its full potential. Acidity, fruit and tanins well balanced. The nose or the Carmenere overpower the 2 other grapes but the taste blends the 3 grapes well. Ready to drink but could age for another 3-5 years.

April 16, 2017 - Leaf day - fully integrated with none of the grapes standing out. Fully resolved tannins resulting in a cassis/herbal nose and dried fruit and a savoury finish. Excellent with Easter Roast Beef (horseradish crust) and the family together!!

December 25, 2016 - Consistent with last note, tons of black currant and tobacco along with cedar and tar. In a great spot.

November 20, 2015 - This is in a really nice spot, huge nose of black currant, blueberry, cedar and tar on the pop'n'pour. Little change with decanting, perhaps some tobacco. Blue and black fruits on the attack, round, soft mid-palate, medium low acidity, tannins are well resolved, but definitely present. The finish is more cedar, coffee and tobacco driven, though still showing a persistent currant-like fruit influence.
Clearly new world in the fruit character, yet layered, deep, and free of roasted fruit character. Possibly at its peak, but seems poised to navigate another 5-7 years.1 person found this helpful Comment
