  October 23, 2016 - Slightly defective but still enjoyable. Strong on the palate, black licorice and red fruit. Interesting texture on the back of my palate, leather and tobacco. Baking spices. A little past it's prime but still good.

  July 18, 2015 - Aromatic nose of ripe black cherry fruit, dusty earth, and plum, more of the same on the palate, medium/big body, delicious with basil salmon, long, long flavorful finish and aftertaste.

  June 5, 2013 - This wine was really good after opening and letting sit for 1 hour. Had with rosemary salmon and it was a great match. The bright flavors of the fruit along with acidity really were vibrant. Drinking great now!

  May 31, 2013 - Last of 5 bottles that were "Power-Buys" at the NH state store (i.e. deeply discounted). Drank these over the past couple of years and this last bottle was the best. Refined, deep with a great nose. The kind of wine that evolves over the evening.
