  November 30, 2014 - At home with wood oven pizzas, a paisano Italian wine would fit the bill. Have been working through a stash in my cellar and have not posted a note
  
  Light ruby color. Floral and red fruit nose. Palate is light cherry, floral, smoke. A pronounced sweetness on the mid palate - very charming and perfect for the meal we had. Medium weight and light finish.
  
  Nothing profound here, but all in a really nice everyday or "red sauce" wine.
  
  A very interesting wine. I can't say that I've had many wine based on Nero D'Avola, so I don't have a great basis for comparison. Regardless, this wine has a very pleasant nose of cherry and grape. It is silky smooth on the palate with more cherry and perhaps some green pepper. It seems to have very little natural acidity. It has a very short finish with very little tannin. Overall, a very nice everyday table wine.

  May 27, 2014 - I found this bottle in a corner of my cellar ... I should have start using Cellar Tracker few years ago :-) This wine is beyond its limits by few years ...
