February 26, 2009 - Oddbins Burgundy vs The New World tasting
Nose: Malo, Oak, no fruit to speak of
Mouth: despite the nose, very balanced malo and oak, not at all overpowering. Also had some pear.
Guessed this one wrong as well - the lack of fruit made me plump for old world. Durrr. And I thought I knew Chardonnay.
