October 15, 2013 - Really enjoyed this wine, decanted for two hours. Berry, leather and cedar on the nose. Packed with fruit but not jammy - a difficult balance to attain. Good mid-palate and lots of tannin but not overpowering. Just bought three more bottles, will drink one now and cellar the other two for another 3-5 years. I look forward to drinking it then.

January 8, 2012 - Above average; however it took forever to fully open and show its true colors. It had to be decanted for over 4 hours and poured through a vinturi multiple times. 2012 is not the end of the drinking window, I would say at least 2016.

August 14, 2011 - Very refined for a cab, peppery, drinking well. Did not dominate the meal.
