April 23, 2015 - This is drinking beautifully, earthy jammy nose, lingering finish, superb mouth feel. It just gets better and better. Hard part will be resisting opening the last bottle for a while longer!

September 11, 2012 - And here we are 3.5 years later and this wine is close to peaking. Still very powerful, needs to breath. Tannins are still there, giving you that dry puckering feeling on the finish. Some fruit up front, not much. This is a wine in the fashion of the Charles Smith Syrahs. Yummy. Still.

April 27, 2012 - I think I nailed it back in 2009 when I said the wine would be optimal right now. No immediate rush, but would suggest drinking a bottle now and deciding for yourself.

May 13, 2010 - Wow, good stuff. The wine had thick dark burgundy hue to it. The nose had a cedar, cigar box with hints of tobacco, and dark fruit. The nose definitely gave the impression that it would be a complex rich wine. The taste did not let me down, yum. Very long smooth finish but not chewy as I was expecting, it was light leading me to want more. Great wine, worth the price.
