December 29, 2017 - Garnet color. Blackberry jam, black cherry. Sweet florals, sweet bacon, pepper, baking spices, sweet cream. Leather, tobacco, some nuttiness, black soil. On the palate, black fruit, stone, pepper. Past its prime by about 6 months.

January 5, 2017 - Lighter in color than expected. Immediate nose of smoke and cured meat. Lovely notes of dark fruit and herbs. Strong, smooth, peppery finish.

February 8, 2014 - First bottle was corked. Second bottle untainted. Slightly fresher than the 2006, but lovely, rich, full of fruit and spice. For me this wine is great value and one of the best Crozes around.

January 20, 2014 - Loaded with lots of leather, coffee and earthy spice. Will definite improve over the next three to five years.

  • Texoenophile Likes this wine: 90 points

November 19, 2013 - Very enjoyable wine. Well madea and integrated. Typical Northern Rhone nose and dry finish with nice acidity. A professional Crozes Hermitage.
