June 27, 2009 - TN from day three left open on the counter. Honey golden color and viscous. A great, fresha and very floral nose with orange blossoms, lilies, apricots, fresh apples, honey, and orange marmalade. Well balanced, with great midpalate presence and acidity. Mouthwatering fresh apples and tangerines. Very fresh: and while very long on the back end, it remains extremely clean and mouthwatering. Very round and expansive but not flabby, with a touch of petrol. Still lovely and primary at this point. Beautiful.

October 13, 2005 - Anwar brought a bottle of this over to my house last weekend for an Oktoberfest dinner. This was served with an apple tart that he also brought. Just as good as the last time I had it with similar notes. 93-94 points

June 7, 2005 - Riesling and Thai Food at Ruen Pair in Los Angeles (Ruen Pair - Los Angeles): Out of a 375ml with Gregg Greenbaum and his wife Marina after Thai food and a couple other Rieslings. Gregg brought an 03 Riesling--please fill in. And I also brought a 99 Milz-Laurentiushof Riesling.

Agreed that the initial nose on this was very strange and almost like green olive juice. That blew off after a bit to reveal honey and peach syrup, which carried through to the taste. Not cloying in any way but well balanced with minerals, ripe peach syrup, and a little honey and something olive or earth like. Very nice Eiswein for $30 or so dollars
