  January 2, 2014 - Bought several of these a few years ago hoping to get a decent any night drinker in a good Napa year. First bottle was completely disjointed a couple years ago and I kept hoping things might get better with age. Unfortunately, all 4 bottles we've tried over 3 years have been garbage. Last couple will either be used for cooking or to clean the kitchen drain!

  September 30, 2012 - [belated notes, so weigh accordingly] Was a little bright and tart after opening. Giving it a day or two to breathe softened it some. Not a hugely plush wine, or particularly "cabby" in character, but nice, reasonably rich table table wine that I'd happily drink again.

  November 18, 2011 - Dark color out of the bottle. Smells of chocolate and dark cherry. Tastes similar: a medium chocolate taste with medium tannins. Very drinkable by itself and goes well with food, as the food neutralizes some of the tannins. Drinking this with chicken parmesan, but it would go better with a dish without red sauce. Not the best wine I've ever had, but then again, this was under eight bucks.
