  September 1, 2012 - Have had this for several years - it was fantastic value generic Tempranillo 4-5 years ago. The question now is how well it has evolved. Still very dark, with some gentle bricking on the rim. Powerful nose of crushed blackberries, wet slate and white pepper. Jammy and generous on the palate, with a central core of dark berries, cherries and plums, soft, silky tannins, and an attractively smoky finish. This remains splendid value for money, and a very good example of how elegant and distinctive Tempranillo can be outside of its classical regions, Rioja and Ribera del Duero. However, it is arguably on the decline, so needs drinking now.

  May 16, 2012 - Lots of smoke at first in this dark red. After that fades reveals a nicely structured red with coffee and liquourice flavors

  January 10, 2011 - Intensive Nase. Auch am Gaumen dichte und reife Frucht mit frischer Würze. Sehr schöne Struktur, gute Säure und tolle Tannine im Abgang. Rassig und doch elegant. Erstaunliche Flasche. Super Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis.

  December 31, 2010 - It was the most enjoyable of the three bottles opened last night, but there really wasn't anything memorable about it. Won't purchase again.
