Community Tasting Notes 6

July 29, 2019 - Last tasting may have been off bottle. This time the flavors really come through. Cork disintegrated as I opened but wine was nicely intact. Smooth, floral, tannins have mellowed. Moderately long finish. Good time to be drinking this up

July 6, 2019 - Similar notes as previous tasting. Dark fruits in the nose and flavor and a medium to long finish.

February 25, 2018 - Little past prime, still good but losing some of the strength it originally had. Complex flavors but noticeable sweet with noticeable alcohol.

September 15, 2017 - Black raspberries, wood, and floral in the nose. Cherries and plums in the flavor. Medium to long finish. Drink over the next 3-4 years.

August 13, 2017 - I don't quite know how to peg the nose on this; perhaps a sweet floral with a little oak. Upon opening, this wine was to sweet. After 30 minutes, this wine opened and it was hard not to drink. The wine was easily drank and there was a little oak and mild acidity and very well balanced. it was delicious. This wine has a few more years left in it.
