December 30, 2015 - Brought it and a white to early new year's Eve dinner celebration at the Palace with Cathy's 92-year-old mother. and our two sons (whose wife and girlfriend respectively were working late and couldn't make it). I had just a taste and found it to be a good pairing with the prime rib entree. Well structured, smooth, soft tannins and flavors of pepper and dark berries on the palate. Mostly Zin (64%) with 27% Cab and a touch of Merlot and Cab Franc. Gave the rest of the bottle to James to take home to Vanessa. last bottle but it received a good send-off.

June 28, 2015 - Enjoyed with grilled steak, new potatoes, etc. Delicious wine. A bit restrained from what I remember. Notes of chocolate and spice on the palate.
