  January 9, 2012 - Standard Pinot profile in my amateur estimation - combo of old/new world...maybe a touch young still - Nose has light earthy/funk with some dark cherry fruit. Palate is light/medium bodied with that thin pinot feel. Fair amount of earth/must and tart cherry. It doesn't last long, and fades with similar notes. I thought that in another year this would mellow and come together a little more. Decent wine from great producer for 17$.

  August 20, 2009 - Fairly four-square drinking for new world pinot, but given the price not such a bad thing. On the nose a fairly dark and meaty odour with simple burnt sweet cherries. Soft and rounded on the palate with a tangy fruit,cherry and strawberry notes but with a decent follow through with some sweetness. Decent for the price and well above average for its type. Lacks a bit of acidity and freshness. For short term driniking while the fruit is still fresh. I'd buy this again.

  May 20, 2009 - Occasional tasting group: Just training our blind tasting skills. (@ PVa): Strawberries and a bit sweet. Medium bodied. Soft bitterness. The acidity and tannin is not offering enough bite to make the wine interesting. In general ok, but not special.
