November 22, 2023 - Long-overdue dinner with Nel & Illy (Theirs): G really loved this, the age and complexity, aromatic profile and palate. I found it a bit austere, but it was a terrific match for the Korean duck breast.

May 21, 2010 - Directly from the bottle into the glass this wine seems closed. I have poured the wine from bottle to bottle and back
(and waited several hours before serving). The wine has gained colour, nose and body.
Now two days after I left half the bottle in the fridge, the wine seems even better, creamy, with lots of ripe tannnins and
still the rose scent in the front of the bouquet. Really lovely wine if you give it time and air.
