    February 11, 2013 - plenty of sediment must be strained, good balance plum and smokey flavors, allow to breathe at least 30-45 min. Will probably not get better so drink up stock.

    December 21, 2012 - Haven't had this for over two years, bought on a closeout at $19.99 at the time. Lots of sediment around the cork upon opening. Beginning to show its age and get a little heavy but still starts out tight and dry. Very concentrated flavors of dark berry fruit and plum, cassis & black currant. Still pleasant to drink and improves some with about an hour of air. Have one more bottle and will finish up soon, as good as it is going to get.

    September 30, 2012 - The key to this wine is to decant it for at least one hour. When first opened it is a little tight with some moderate acidity. After an hour, this wine is singing. The acidity mellows and the fruit opens up nicely. As previously mentioned, this does not drink well the following day. I suggest to drink it up ....which will not be a problem once you taste it!
