October 5, 2017 - Unbelievable! Love M. Chapoutier. Looking at some of the other reviews. The nose is fruit and mineral and dark sweet cherries. The palate is balanced. Fruit and tannins are in perfect harmony. Long luscious finish.

May 5, 2017 - A totally brilliant wine and a legend from this appellation. The 2007 VIT exhibits true elegance and clean silk. The nose still has a lovely fruit component, but above all the minerality is just astonishing. Thre is also freshly ground pepper, kirsch, saddle leather, spice, dark chocolate and lovely white flowers. The palate is totally integrated and perfectly balanced with fruit, acidity and tannins playing along in total harmony. Silkiness is the best description for the experience, but not in a voluptuous way. This wine is true class act and indeed one the best wines I have ever tasted from this appellation - though not the most powerful one, it is certainly the most elegant one!

October 30, 2013 - As lovely as when tasted last time. This wine is a true masterpiece. It is perfectly clean, balanced integrated. A flat out great bottle of wine! (See my tasting notes below for more detailed information.)
