September 7, 2012 - Østkantsmaking: Dypsvart rød med innslag av oransje. Oransje kant. Sødmefull på nese med syrlige bær, tørket sviske og et svakt oksidativt preg som beveger seg mot sherry etter litt tid i glasset. Sursøt frukt. Bløte, finkornede tanniner.

September 7, 2012 - Seven Decades of Right Bank Wines (Trondheim, Norway (my house)): Mid shoulder fill. Dark, pronounced brown brim and core; Dark and dried fruits, slightly volatile, earthy; similar in the mouth, decent length, slightly sweet, lots of acidity.

April 4, 2011 - Very dusky and almost opaque orange/brown colour; sweet fruits on the nose still at this age! Decayed Autumnal leaves also, not dissimilar to the 1990; sweet fruit on palate. Opulent, still quite incredible balance, density and texture. Good weight. Astonishing for the age - a testament to the vintage.
