March 24, 2008 - Golden colour. Fatty, rich white flowers, toffee and a lot of butter on the nose with honeyed aromas of oak. Is this partly oxidised? I've not enough experience to tell, but it's similar to purposefully oxidised wines I've tried before, e.g. López de Heredia Gravonia. On the palate very rich butterscotch on the attack, floral midpalate and buttery long finish, which shows a little too much alcohol. A complex, rich and enjoyable wine, but I'm not sure it's correct.
