Community Tasting Notes 8

June 8, 2020 - I forgot I had this, not drunk a bottle for nearly 7 years. Still time in hand but ready to go now. Full and robust old fashioned style of Burgundy and no harm in that at all. Full of meaty fruit flavours and a touch of Pinot sourness. Excellent.

March 16, 2014 - Day 1: Needed to be put away, acidity was disjointed and not pleasant but could tell there was quality there

Day 2: Everything has mellowed, warm tart fruit, balanced, youthful let it age for another 5 years min,

Conc: Solid tasty would buy again and hold

November 16, 2013 - Solid sour cherry pinot flavours. Drinking well, youthful but approachable.

February 25, 2013 - Tart, but pleasurable, taste which I think and hope means that this is too early to open the bottle. That said, it was still enjoyable to drink.

January 1, 2011 - Very primary at first but this opened up and developed quite well over 3 hours taking on depth as it did. Fresh, sappy fruit on the nose - cherries and a hint of plum. Quite intense youthful fruit flavour, lively and with some intensity - keen acidity. Settled down after a couple of hours into a very fine young pinot. Should develop well in the medium term though a good wine for early drinking.
