June 30, 2017 - Drunk with 6 other wines in numerous lunches and dinners, this was repeatedly the most smooth, lush, and delicious wine on the table, that we just kept coming back to for another pour. An undertow of structuring tannin keeps this wine from being flabby, and fine acidity keeps it refreshing. Overall, aging magnificently, superb by itself and with food, a grand buy at $19, and a tribute to how great the 2007 vintage was in south France, that shows every sign of drinking at a peak for years more.

May 20, 2017 - rich and meaty, perfect match to our t-bone steak

February 28, 2014 - Full bodied, lots of fruit and leather

October 31, 2013 - Decanted for about 30 mins. Almost black in the glass. Lots of deep, dark fruits on the nose with clear olive tapenade. The palate is also very fruit forward, lots of blackberry, lots of tannins, very powerful still. This is a big, brawny wine, but has no faults to it. I like it!

Woah, day 2, this has become very heavy, almost port-like. Doesn't go well with food at all (well maybe a barbeque), toffee, raisins, and the alcohol burns through. Urghh.

October 24, 2013 - PnP, served non-blind; enjoyed over 2 hours. Well made, but not overly complex. Well-lifted, and fully mature, but the 15% abv detracts more than it adds. A good food wine nonetheless. I was left hoping for more than it could muster. Drink thru 2016
