March 6, 2013 - DAY 1: Very nice. Lovely nose, perfumy with flowers, earth, lots of stony mineral, and some dark fruit aromas sprinkled with sweet spices. Nose was full on from the get go, but palate was tight for quite a while. Very nice attack - dark cherries, sweet spice, hints of stone in the background as the attack fades into into plums and a flowery edge at the finish. Just a bit short on length, but this was very delicious. Looking forward to it opening in the glass and to see what tomorrow brings.

February 2, 2010 - Knightsbridge Annual Wildman Burgundy Dinner (Boka): Impressive aromas of red and black cherry, still really fresh with subtle spice. Well textured and elegant in every way. Close to its peak.

February 2, 2010 - Knightsbridge Wildman Dinner (Boka): Lovely beguilling burg nose - clean and bright. Luscious velvety black fruit on the palate. Showing very nicely.

January 8, 2006 - Pinot Fight night (West Vancouver (Jeff's house)): On the palate, a little alcohol, but not as much as wine #1. Yet this is a bigger, richer wine. Also a nose that leaves more ofan impression. Some dry tannin on the finish. Big fruit with good ripeness, but not over the top. A late note of green tobacco also. Nice wine.
