  January 1, 2023 - At first, this was terrible-moldy and musty. So we set it aside and came back a day later-now it’s really pretty interesting. Fruit has fallen off into analmalgam of light dust and leather. Almost notes of caramel. Fruit acids are there on a lingering finish. This has held up somehow in a very unusual way but I think I would have like to have tried it 5 years ago. Definitely a wine worthy of consideration

  July 25, 2012 - Fruit on the nose with a light touch of oak and cherryish finish. Not over done with a nice balance of fruit to alcohol and it tastes better then some wines I've drank costing half again as much, liked it so much called the winery and bought two more magnums.

  October 29, 2010 - Kind of sweet at first, with some meaty tones. This does round into form after an hour of air. Has sweet sappy fruit, with a savory edge. Wouldn't know it's nine years old. Very nice. 89-90
