  April 22, 2011 - In your face Pinot noir. Very fruity throughout (raspberries). Strong alcohol taste in middle/finish, especially for a Pinot noir. Also hints of tobacco.

  October 20, 2010 - Dark ruby red. More lush on the nose than when last tasted in July. It's like a cherry tootsie-roll tootsie pop with the tootsie inside. A bit of nuttiness / butterscotch on the nose as well. Tastes herbaceous, hot, and a bit thin. Good acidity, full flavor but its mostly sour red fruit at this point. There's a vegetal component that lingers the entire time, it's asparagus-like. Finishes abruptly and dryly. The curve of flavor is sharp and uninspiring but it's satisfying at a hedonistic level, and surely will accompany some foods. Not a best-of value, but good compared to the inexpensive categories. Would go against, perhaps a La Crema RRV, and the La Crema would be preferred.
