May 4, 2011 - Absolutely yummy. Did not even notice the 15% alcohol. So smooth with easy tannins. Not much on the nose. Picked up some cherry. Glad I have more bottles.

February 17, 2011 - Popped my last bottle and decanted for about 30 minutes to accompany beef stew in zinfandel (an '04 Rombauer that had leaked and oxidized to the point of undrinkability). Threw a great deal of tartarate crystals, a good sign. Mild, somewhat green nose but a pleasantly mellow, buttery well-rounded flavor. A hint of green herbs but otherwise a nicely balanced, easy drinking Zin.
