    September 13, 2020 - Delicious aromas of blackberries, clove l, saddle leather, tar, tobacco and plums. Nicely integrated tannins. Well balanced. Nice moderately long finish. A real treat.

    July 12, 2020 - Sadly - this lady is on the downside of mature. if you are a fan of very old claret, you'll probably still like this. amber edges. herbs, dried cherries and mature oak on the nose. The palate has very mature dark fruits, a bit thin, with spices and a little forest floor. Short finish, with a layer of acid. An honorable goodbye to what was once a terrific wine. If you have any left, drink up (and have a back-up ready!)

    June 27, 2020 - This wine is few years past peak. I think was 94 points, 3 years ago. Tannins totally smoothed out. Notes of dark cherries & herbal spices. The fruit flavors are fading and being replaced by insipidness.
