October 7, 2016 - Lighter garnet. Spicy nose with red fruit and oak. A bit greener and leaner than the fantastic 2004 along side it. Still decent but the 2007 year cannot fully hide.

August 2, 2014 - - Crimsom color with medium forming legs and aromas of cloves and dusty. It's balanced and has flavours of grapefruit, cherry and tea with a medium body. Polished texture with a long finish - Very nice!

January 27, 2012 - This wine has really softened up since my last bottle. Less zesty. Softer spices. Great fruit and nicely Balanced.

March 18, 2011 - Not your everyday pinot. Earthy nose. Lots of spice-box; all-spice and nutmeg. earthy taste too. with good acidity. Almost a zesty grapefruit taste. Still some firm tannis. Probably still a little youg. Will be curious to see how it evolves over time.

March 10, 2009 - Martine's Wines Portfolio tasting (MK, Chicago IL): nose: good, classic gevrey nose of earthen tones, wood spices, dark red cherries, and raspberries. Good robustness to it, but with a lighter touch at this time and good purity

taste: excellent and more round feel with well balanced tones of strawberries, earthen tones, dark red cherries and raspberries. Good medium/high acidity that is definitely present, but doesn't get in the way

overall: an outstanding wine. Lovely with classic aromatics that really draw you in. Pure Gevrey expression that is very alluring
