    May 1, 2010 - Saturdays at One - Volume 21: WIML90-91?

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of blueberries, smoke, potpourri up front but later with time revealing added notes of cocoa powder and a bit of currant. Flavors of berries and raspberries. medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium body. Drink now with a little air or continue to hold into the medium term.

May 1, 2010 - The nose had lots of dark candied fruit, some pepper and earth, and a little vanilla at the end. The palate was thick and rich, with blackberry and black currant, a little pepper, and a big vanilla finish.
