January 26, 2024 - Decanted in a Voss btl for almost 7+hrs prior to serving. This was quite easily discernible as a Riesling for most if not all, properly due to that faint note of petrol that got increasingly "lost" as the evening wore on, replaced by a melange of lemons, orange, grapefruit, passionfruit. Intense fruit concentration with laser-sharp focus, finishing long & fresh. Very nice!

November 12, 2023 - Cork was soaked through and crumbled. Tasted oxidized (no acid either), despite the still fabulous nose. Such a shame.

August 28, 2023 - Golden color with a hint of green. Wow - what a nose: grass, honeycomb and a driveway of crushed stones and oyster shells - knit seamlessly together. Rich mouth-feel. Vibrant. Grapefruit and wild herbs. Stunningly long. Just hitting peak. Probably the best Riesling I have ever drunk. Thanks, Henry! (100)

December 14, 2021 - Keller with age for me is the Riesling epitome. 2008 I believe is one of the very first GG vintages from Absterde. There is incredible power, focus and intensity showing an exceptionally expressive aromatic bouquet after sufficient air of yellow fruit, stony minerals and an herbal freshness with an electrically energized palate and a persistent finish. Delicious.
