October 14, 2011 - Wow. Drank my last bottle tonight-probably one of the best of this vintage. Lots of fruit, smooth. Even left some open and went to dinner.. Came back and finished the last two glasses. Still great.

August 14, 2011 - Poured for wife and friend whose primary evaluation criteria for wine is whether or not it gives her heart-burn.

April 1, 2011 - Very good bang for the buck! That silky Pinot taste for under ten bucks! Come on! Hard to beat! Good red berry flavor with a nice balanced finish. A winner for the glass of wine with dinner during the week!

March 2, 2011 - Unscrewed and Poured. Ruby in the glass. Nose of cherry cola and bright berry. On the palate: red fruits, especially raspberry and ripe cherry, home-made cherry pie filling, a little cherry cola, some cranberry. I can't square the other low scores here with the bottle I had. For this price, I'm not sure what anyone is expecting. Is this a great 'grand cru' Pinot? No, of course not. But anyone spending $8 on a wine should not expect that. The price has to be a consideration here, and for under $10 this wine is fantastic. Excellent every-day plunker of a wine that pairs well with plenty of foods. Fruity, fruity, fruity. Bordering on fruit bomb, but there is enough soft tannin and minimal complexity to make this wine interesting to the end of the bottle. Ultimately, a pleasant drinker. Great QPR. Finish is short-medium.

February 5, 2011 - Flavor profile of this wine is pretty basic, cherry and strawberry, but after my third glass a bit of barrell tannin was still detectable. This wine starts out with a bit of astringency but after about an hour it begins to fade allowing the wine to taste somewhat like a pinot. Still a great value imo, can't say the same for other vintages.
