November 9, 2022 - Fully mature and ready to go. The palate felt a bit thinner than last time I had this. Other than that, it's a beautiful wine with a ton of tertiaries on the nose and a good amount of red fruit on the palate. Beautiful bottle.

July 20, 2016 - Excellent bottle, great nose, soft on the palate, good acidity, well balanced fruit. Great effort. A little bit longer finish and this would've been a 95 for me.

July 9, 2010 - Pleasant nose of sour cherries, bramble, baking spice. Light red, a bit of brown, a few notches before translucent. Cherries, tea, cola, soft on the palate. Very refreshing acidity. Medium viscosity, very pleasant and smooth mouth feel. Delightful finish with darker cherries, spices, and tea. Very low oak, nice expressive fruit, amazing balance. Worth every penny.

May 7, 2010 - If you open it, best to consume right away, loses some of it's charm the second night.

April 23, 2010 - Earthy funk on the nose which I love, Very floral flavors like Roses and Orange Blossom. Light weight and delicate..almost feminine. I LOVED IT!

(Domaine de la Vougeraie Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Marconnets) The premier cru Les Marconnets vineyard sits on a steep hillside of Savigny-lès-Beaune, facing the city of Beaune. This wine displays a pale, ruby-garnet hue and aromas of pomegranate, strawberry, tea leaves, and dried roses. It has a supple mouthfeel and firm, but balanced, tannin and acidity, followed by lingering notes of black cherry and charred cedar plank. Serve it with duck confit over mixed greens. Hot Picks
