  May 3, 2020 - This showed very well and really still seems slightly young; the nose was exuberantly spicy with ripe currant and plum notes, hints of raspberry, forest floor, and crushed violet. The palate has good concentration and overall is nicely balanced, still with a bit of structure on the back end that shortened the finish. This is certainly entering maturity, but I'd say should easily have another 5-6 years of excellent drinking and possible improvement and then hold another 5+ after that.

  20210219 at Tutto Bello. This is a text book CdB. Layers within structure, floral aroma plus mushroom earthy scent in a complementary balance and it changes every 15 minute. Wonderful experience! 94

  March 18, 2017 - An oaky, spicy nose, with cherry, raspberry and high-toned floral notes. There is a good amount of power and tannins to the elegant and balanced palate. Entering the drinking window, but I would suggest holding for a few years.
