August 24, 2019 - One of my last bottles from this rare vintage, in these days the 4Kilos was a blend of Cabernet, Syrah and some autochthonous grapes, today only the mallorca varietals are used, good complexity, red saviour tasty fruit, energetic on the midpalate, but this is not an example for a ballearic wine, long and dense, very good.

June 29, 2019 - Wine of the evening after drinking all kinds of stuff, late into a hot night, this Callet-based Mallorcan gem which I've been keeping for over a decade showed saddle leather, aniseed, chocolate, cream, herbs like thyme and rosemary and lavender and oregano, a stony minerality and a brilliantly fresh finish. A wonderful wine that's ageing incredibly well - the tannins are still robust and a tad furry - they need still more years to soften. One of the best ambassadors for Callet.

June 18, 2016 - Second vintage of this garage wine from Mallorca, I do have all vintages in my cellar......, except one the 3.000 bottles of the 2006 vintage, this second vintage is made of 50% cabernet S., 10% Mer, and 40% of the grapes of mallorca Callet y Fogoneu, a very young appearance in the glass, dark, ruby, impenetrable, a complex sweet nose, intense, some spicy aromas, sweet blackberry, on the palate concentrated, but very fresh, in spite of 14,5% ABV, mineralic, sweet tannin structure, on the way to its peak, very balanced, very long aftertaste, I am very impressed by this bottle, still some years to go, ***(*- +?), 91- 93+?

September 29, 2012 - Pop up and poured and redrink the day after. Nice dark hue, very thick. nose expressik of blackberry sirup, with vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is melted, sweat, fat and balanced. Showing notes of sweat chocolate, light coffee, and berries. It is not a light wine, the tannins starts to polish and the fact that the alcohol is not burning but present. So what's making this wine so drinkable : the sweat is light, with no bitterness, the sap is integrated and there's no liccoricce. A garage wine with some finesse, and overall a very good length. At the beginning of his peak; drink now threw 2014. Outstanding.

August 12, 2012 - Dark fruits, blackberry, chocolate, moka, mint, cream, pepper and vanilla. A slight floral touch. Spicy palate and long aftertast of licorice, slate and vanilla. Improved a lot over the evening.
