February 28, 2009 - Ed Kurtzman Dinner - His Favs and His (Casa Murray): Hay nose I find often on Chards with little oak and some mineral character. Soft mouth feel with plenty of weight still, especially on the mid palate where the fruit has a touch of sweetness. Nose was fairly inexpressive but the palate still seemed young. Probably should have revisited this later in the night.

February 28, 2009 - Ed Kurtzman Comes to OC (Casa Murray - San Juan Capistrano, CA): Musty and mature aromas of caramel, butter, sweet cream, and sea spray. Oily on the palate with soft acidity and a sweet caramel finish. Enjoyable, but I'm not sure it will improve with further aging.
