  September 27, 2012 - A really lovely wine. Tart cherry dominated the first night but second showed a little darker blackberries and raspberries. All of this over a core of herbs and slight mineral essences. Light on it's feet but rich, with considerable acidity making this an amazing food wine. expressive herbal (slight anise even?) nose and medium plus finish. I think this could easily hold out another few years in the cellar, possibly longer. Sadly this is my last bottle.

  May 10, 2010 - 2 hour decant. Very nice! Getting rose petals on the midpalate and finish now. See previous note for more details. Glad I have another one of these.
  
  As good as this is, I think I prefer the Mouvedre based blend from this same vintage a tad better.
