October 17, 2019 - Beautifully aged nose, with black olives, dark plums, a bit of cedar. The palate also shows some age, but no fatigue. This is still very well balanced but it is at its peak and will slowly fade over the next 5-10 years.

December 5, 2018 - Earthy, very earthy.. mixed with tobacco, wet cedar, mushroom. Tar, prune juice, fig covered in molasses..
    Very advanced.

October 7, 2016 - On the nose, black olives, strawberry cream, cigar box, simply enticing. The palate starts on ripe plums, transitioning to dried figs, then to strawberries in cream. Such a refined finish with integrated alcohol and tannins balanced by refreshing acidity. This is a tremendous wine that is now blossoming and will keep on giving for 5-10 years!

November 9, 2014 - Solid wine. 2004, drinking nicely, showing development, could probably last longer. 14% alcohol well integrated, supple mouth feel, if a tad modern.
On the nose notes of olive, earth/forest, vanilla, spice, plum, cherry, chocolate.
Palate, smooth tannins, cherry, blueberry, plum, wood, tobacco, tar, earth, vanilla, clove, slight mushroom, slight cola notes.

Will hold the other bottle for another 4-5 years.
