June 14, 2013 - Enjoyed along with a 16 hour BBQ pulled pork. This is a great wine with thick blueberry jammy flavor that pairs well with BBQ.

February 5, 2012 - Really enjoyed the jaminess of this wine...wish I had more. Truly what a Zin should be.

November 21, 2011 - really enjoy this Zirn...earthy and just enough spiceness to make it interesting. Really wished I had bought more of this one...definitely worth stocking more of.

October 29, 2011 - I only wish I had bought more of this as this is the last bottle! Deep, dark purple, exhibiting a bold, smokey, spicy nose. A bit of vanilla with lots of juicy, red and black fruit.
This is a big, powerful Zin that reminds you why California Zinfandel is world famous. I've found it to be neither jammy nor an overly ripe fruit bomb as many Zins can be. Nice smooth, lasting finish. Excellent. Much different from the more subtle and refined 2006 Gamba Moratto Vineyard.
