January 23, 2017 - Wine Education Service - Argentina (LSE): Youthful purple, dense.
    Gentle fruity nose.
Fruity, well integrated, balanced, very long.

August 11, 2016 - Deep colour. Recessed nose soon after decanting but it opened with time and showed good fruit and spice. The fruit on the palate seemed very sweet at first with dusty tannins but the wine settled and revealed spice and mainly damson, plum and black cherry fruit. Good length and balance. It definitely needs time to settle - it was a much better wine after a couple of hours.
After 24h, the spice was more subtle and the wine was softer and full of sweet, rich dark fruits with damson and cherry. Good structure and complexity. Very long. Typical Malbec character but difficult to disentangle the minor grapes (not a criticism). Excellent wine with life ahead of it (Clos usually develops over at least a decade IMO).

(Clos de los Siete) Appealing, lifted, berry, herbal, eucalyptus nose; very tight, tart berry, tart plum, menthol palate; needs 4-plus years; medium-plus finish
