January 18, 2015 - Wow, this is still an insanely delicious wine. Massive cedar/pencil box as I was pouring it (through a screen, fortunately - bit of sediment this time around!) into the decanter. That note is still there, if somewhat muted, in the glass. On the palate it's still rich fruit and spice, mellow tannins and a nice finish. Very sorry that tonight was my last bottle!

December 31, 2011 - Overly fruity and sweet.

December 23, 2011 - Impressive both with dinner (pork roast) and all by itself. Bright, rich, full-bodied fruit, smooth and mellow tannins. One of the nicer wines I've drunk recently.

November 5, 2010 - Blueberry/Plum peppery spice on the nose. Palate follows with more of the same, some cedar, leather. Fruit is mellow and mild, solid acidity and smooth tannins. Should be good with the pepperoni pizza I have cooking.
