  January 14, 2024 - Not dead, but definitely heading in that direction. Pear, honey, Apple. Looks like flat coca cola after about an hour open - started off a pretty golden color and moved to a pretty copper/brown/gold color. About 10-15 minutes of air while in bottle did help bring it to life.
  
  Note: made my wife have another sip after I became convinced it tasted like an unsweet jolly rancher and she said I'm an idiot. Note there is a hint of sweetness left.

  December 4, 2022 - Notes of apple and pear, with some funky petrol and honey notes. Decent amount of sweetness. There was also some slight maderization, giving it a slight raisin note on the finish. Definitely on the downslope, but still a lovely wine.

  June 28, 2022 - Château La Conseillante dinner & Kabinett tasting (Groot-Ammers, Netherlands): AP 05 77. Tired but holding on. Hints of chocolate and marzipan, raisins, the structure is still fresh but the aromas are very developed.

  April 3, 2021 - 很重的咖啡，微苦焦糖，桃杏果脯，蜂蜜，烟草微燃时刻的缕缕缭绕，还有些烟草碎和燃尽了的印象，随后烟雾散开，出现略带灰尘的红檀，精致而具象，尘封而安静，仿佛表面还带有光滑的包浆。香气老而弥坚，具有穿透性和层次感，所有的气息构成了平和深邃略带朦胧的氛围。入口的酸甜在几十年的岁月中完全融合在了一起，但似乎已过巅峰，整体结构和饱满感有所衰退，但层次感和整合度是另一番境界，乌梅汤，西梅脯，桃杏脯，些许果干蜜饯，锡兰红茶，焦糖，蜂蜜结晶，咖啡，行将燃尽的烟草，红檀……各种各样的味道结合在一起，层层叠叠又浑然一体，中后段出现丝缕金属感，两颊后段带类凉茶的苦。似乎能够想象其巅峰期的形象，但未免有些遗憾。92-93/100

  September 1, 2019 - Delicate honeyed pear and apple with subtle notes of petrol. Delicious stone fruit on the palate, delicate sweetness with amazing acidity for its age. Lengthy finish.
