May 22, 2014 - May have been very, very slightly corked, but underneath, it was very nice and still kicking. Soft, beautiful, nice light cherried palate.

November 3, 2010 - The basic Bourgogne is a pretty, light, zesty bottle of Burgundy. Light to medium bodied, good acids, cranberry and black cherry fruit. Nothing astounding here, but a solid bottle of Burg I prefer to the Grivot Vosne, and I look forward to trying the Savigny village and 1ers,. B

February 20, 2010 - Vineyard Gate: 2007 Savigny-les-Beaune from Camus-Bruchon; 2/19/2010-2/20/2010 (Millbrae, CA): Nose of bright red fruits. Bright, light and zippy on the palate with some complexity and a bit of grip on the finish.

(Domaine Camus-Bruchon & Fils Bourgogne) Medium dark ruby color with very pale to clear thin meniscus; very bretty, tart red fruit, sous bois nose with vague sense of smoke; tart red fruit, tart strawbery palate sapped by brett and other possibile fault, so intensity of flavor is low, medium-plus acidity; short-medium finish
