July 12, 2013 - Drank over two nights, decanted about an hour before tasting on night one. A cab dominate bordeaux blend, it's a deep maroon color in the glass. Very aromatic on the nose with lots of dark fruit scents and floral notes, a little smoke and forest floor. a lovely smooth texture in the mouth, with blackberry and blueberry, a bit of pepper and earthiness to it as well, and a nice medium-long finish to it. Drinking very well right now. 5+12+16+8

March 23, 2013 - Decanted 1 hr. Blue and red fruited on the nose and palate, as well as olive and a hint of earthiness on the palate. Very smooth with no noticeable oak flavor. Medium finish.

March 19, 2013 - Drinking well now. Some earthy olive and brine flavors and a long finish. I enjoyed this bottle.

March 10, 2011 - Simply delicious, so glad we waited a little while. Powerful Bordeaux blend, with a rock solid Walla Walla core of dark fruit backed by clear and present minerality. Cedar is definitely present on the nose, with a touch of something sweet, sandalwood? Lots of plum, currant and other stone fruits here. But what's improved the most is the lasting finish, which is at least twice as long and half as acidic when this was purchased in December 2009. Been a real treat to first try this in barrel in December 2008, again in December 2009, and now - waiting has paid off, and it'll reward even another year. Very nice.
