From stony, lime-stone soil, used to be more feminine than Vercots. Indeed, this is more feminine. Deeper ruby core than straight Aloxe but still, watery rim. Quite tight on the nose, hint of alcohol and oak along with underneath of ripe, slight dusty cherry fruits. This has riper acidity, rich with firm tannins leads to spicy alcoholic finish. Straight forward. Buy - No.
