February 3, 2019 - This as an exercise in patience. Opening and let sit for 30 minutes. Still not great. At the 45 minute mark, this was a revelation. Wonderfully aged Cali Chardonnay that was made to last. Almonds, a bit of honey, mouth filling. It was wonderful. About 30 minutes after that, it was probably done, but everyone who had it enjoyed it before that. We never got to see the downside. Wonderful reward for our patience.

February 25, 1991 - With K and Miranda at home at dinner (pasta with basil). Straw-colored and fairly viscous. Smells buttery, lemony, oaky. Seems to have the same character as so many others. Good balance, medium-bodied, it has a very appealing butterscotch flavor, especially on the finish. Good acidity. Drinking well now. 5-8-16-7: 86/100.

March 22, 1990 - With K at home at dinner (pasta del sol). Rich gold color. Fine, malolactic nose; rich, buttery, very attractive. On the palate, it is rich, oaky, with smooth, even buttery, flavor. Toasty, rich wine. Drinking well now. 5-11-15-7: 88/100.
