    February 10, 2024 - Needs decanting 20-30min.
Initially, the fruit is discreet, with herbal notes and spiciness. As it opens up, nice dark fruit layers are quite present while the spice and herbal notes take a second role. Rather long. Had the 2010 the day before: more fruit forward, more concentration. The 2008 falls into the classical vintages while 2010 is more opulent. Two excellent expression of the Lagrange terroir.

January 3, 2024 - EEE January 2024 St. Estephe vs St. Julien (@ My place): The elegant and complex bouquet shows dark berries, cedar, eucalyptus and beautiful oak. On the palate juicy dark berries, good acidity, a touch of sweetness and round tannin. The wine is in fact already in a beautiful drinking stage, but no problem to cellar it for another 5 years, although I wonder if it will really improve.

June 23, 2023 - Dark garnet. Dark berries, black plums, jalapeno chocolate, lilacs, a hint of toasty vanillin oak. Rich and complex fruit on the palate with a wide range of geographies, from a focused grittily tannic but aromatic core to a warm acid spread at the margins, moving into long inviting tannic finish. Medium to high acids, high tannins with a hint of grit on the palate and some smooth integration on the back.

April 23, 2023 - Hmm really good and giving a lot of pleasure already. Very classically styled Bordeaux. Great balance of fruit and structure. Elegant and satisfying. Drink now and over the next 20 years.

February 18, 2023 - Beautiful bouquet with dark berries, sweet spices, herbs, sweet licorice and laurel. On the palate dark berries, beautiful and juicy, fresh acidity and round tannin. Good length.
